On the evening of 3 November, the first round of ‘ehituse e-hüpe’ closed:
- a total of 103 applications from 81 different applicants were received by the deadline
- in total, €4.7 million was requested
- the total cost of the projects (i.e. the amount requested for support + own contribution) was €9.5 million.
For the next month, the National Support Services Centre (RTK) carried out a conformity check of the applications. In case of deficiencies, applicants were contacted and given a deadline to introduce changes. In the end, 102 projects asking for €4.6 million were given over to the evaluation committee.
The projects’ activities are divided as follows:
- 50 projects have product development as their main objective, i.e they develop a new product for their own use for the market
- further 50 projects have process and organisation innovation as their main objective, i.e they use a solution already existing in the market to improve their daily operations
- one project is to carry out a study
- one project is to provide training
In December, the evaluation committee will work; in January, RTK will finalise the decisions and inform the applicants.
RTK will also organise a workshop for grant beneficiaries in January to go over what to look out for when using the grant and reporting.
